Many destinations have turned up when researching travel trends for 2018. Among them are “new cultures”, “staycations” and everybody’s favorite “direct flights”. Based on these we have gone over the top destinations around the globe and selected a few that we think you will enjoy and can also be book through the Privilege Collection Travel Portal.

London, England


A favorite spot for many travelers, and anyone who has cable TV, likes medieval history or enjoys Shakespearean novels (or Game of Thrones). London is dream getaway for many. Thanks to the advances in travel trends and market development, it may no longer be just a dream. Arriving in London is easy. Be it through one of its six airports, or by train, ferry, Eurostar. Or even the Chunnel – is also a route beneath the English Channel that connects England and France.

San Jose & Guanacaste Region, Costa Rica


Explore Costa Rica by taking advantage of its many airports. Arrive in San Jose and explore the Arenal area along the Barrio Amon and Barrio Escalante. Leave through the Liberia International Airport to begin your greatest eco-adventure. Your first stop, Liberia. Serves as a gateway to the more developed cities of the province. The white sand beaches of the Pacific such as Playas del Coco, Tamarindo and Playa Hermosa. From horseback riding, to snorkeling and then the greatest zip-line rides, adrenaline is sure to increase. Stumble upon an authentic colonial atmosphere, tasty food and the popular sabanero culture of the Costa Rican. If you stay more time in Liberia a must-do should be Rincon de la Vieja National Park. Only two hours away from Liberia.

Rome, Italy


Rome just doesn’t get ancient enough for it to disappear from travel lists. This city is literally a powerhouse when it comes to historical events and the legacy they left. Home to romantic feasts only seen in movie scenes, ruins and architecture, myths and proof of the legendary wanders found in the encyclopedia, and of course, the Vatican City and only couple of hours away from incredible corners such as Florence, Ostia Antica and Catelli Romani. Need more reasons to visit Rome? Oh yes –it has two international airports.


Lisbon & Porto, Portugal


Yes we know, these cities are not nearby, but the means of transportations that exist nowadays make traveling so easy, it is no wonder we want to experience the best of all possible worlds. Both have international airports, offer finger-liking culinary adventures and various accommodations options that adjust to virtually any budget. You can experience the busy lifestyle of downtown Lisbon or spend a day in the district of Belem and then travel north to Porto, where the wine cellars of Gaia and majestic its Ribeira await.

Tel-Aviv, Israel


Seated in the Mediterranean coast of Israel, Tel-Aviv, boasts a very different environment than the popular Jerusalem. Adding up to its vibrant and cosmopolitan air. The city boasts fine beaches, UNESCO listings, such as the Bauhaus, and the Arab heritage, found in the gastronomy offer. A visit to Tel-Aviv is indeed a culture trip, and a visit to Jaffa, also one of the oldest port cities will demonstrate it as Muslims, Jews, Arabs and Christians live together.


Japan, Tokyo


With three airports within city limits and one just around the corner, Tokyo is going up in the bucket list of many. Direct flights from USA, Mexico, UK, Australia and France make this city accessible to all. Forget about the instant noodle soup, and be ready to squeal as you see a real Geisha walk by, since thanks to the Shinkansen you ca be in iconic cities such as Kyoto, Kobe or Osaka in matter of hours and try original flavors of their popular dishes, such as the Kobe beef or the Okonomiyaki. Your visit to Tokyo can be luxurious or inexpensive, it all depends on your preferences –however it will surely be one to remember.
