Membership Resale and Deceptive Offers

Privilege Club does not have a resale program. Fraudulent telemarketing operations, including phishing and vishing, often target vacation club owners with untrustworthy offers supposedly from Privilege Club or Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts. Be especially cautious of any advance payments required for resale services as these are typically scams from unverified sources looking to exploit unsuspecting members.

Attention! Unscrupulous individuals have contacted members with offers of an "All Inclusive vacation" at a special price, falsely claiming these can be redeemed at any Bahia Principe participating resorts. These emails may appear legitimate, mimicking our official communications. Please be advised that this is a scam, and we strongly recommend ignoring such messages.

Vishing

The cybercriminal will try to gain your trust by calling you and posing as a Club advisor, a representative of the hotel chain, or on behalf of a travel agency. To achieve this, they will give you partial information, which they obtained using malicious programs and social engineering.

Once they call you, they will get your attention by offering you incredible promotions and exclusive offers. Be careful! As tempting as it may seem, it is a trap.

They can even trick you by telling you that they detected suspicious movements in your Club account and that they need your confidential information to help you. This is how they create a sense of urgency to capture your data and do their thing.

Phishing

It is a tactic in which fraudsters impersonate trusted entities such as hotel chains, travel agencies or government entities. By responding to a fake email, the victim may end up handing over their data.

Detect a phishing email by verifying the sender's email address. Scammers write poorly, add characters, use domain names akin to the original brand, etc. Emails sent by Privilege Club will only be sent from the domains @bppclub.com, @bpprivilegeclub.com or @supportbppclub.com.

Do not click on any links contained in the body of your email unless you know where they will take you.
