So… What’s coming?
Most notably, the comprehensive renovation of Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda which is currently underway and scheduled to reopen in December 2023.
Four other hotels in the chain (Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal in Mexico, Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana, and Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro in the Dominican Republic, and Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica in Jamaica) will also undergo renovations. The main enhancements that are being carried out are the renovation of several leisure areas and the creation of new gastronomic concepts that guarantee the excellence of the brand’s standards.
What can be expected?
The renovation of assets, as well as the incorporation of the latest tools and technology, both for recreational activities and for the efficiency in the conservation of resources, are also contemplated along with the company’s commitment to sustainability, which is one of the central pillars of its strategic plan.
As the renovations advance new services and facilities will become available. In summary, be ready for an enriched all-inclusive experience starting December 2023.

In Punta Cana, “La Isla” will become available, a brand new gastronomic area composed of a food truck with international specialties and an entertainment area for the whole family.
The culinary scenery in Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica expands as the “Food Market” is launched. An international buffet in addition to the renovated Orquidia buffet restaurant. With this new exciting concept, the count of restaurants available at the resort grows.
