Belonging to the club and staying at Bahia Principe hotels is a real privilege. Accompanied by friends, we’re two married couples that enjoy romantic breaks to celebrate those special moments in life together.
We travelled to the Bahia Principe La Romana complex for the first time in 2014. It was also our first stay at one of the chain’s hotels. While on holiday we decided to attend the club presentation and find out about its benefits. It was the many advantages, feeling ‘at home’ and the staff’s great service that made us feel the investment was worthwhile.
Our next holidays at Bahia Principe Grand La Romana, Bahia Principe Luxury Bouganville, Bahia Principe Grand Cayacoa and Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda confirmed that we had made an excellent choice.
We can only travel once a year because of work. A week in June for my husband’s birthday or in September for our wedding anniversary. That’s why we plan our holidays in advance and can’t wait to get away. We love visiting the Dominican Republic because the people there are so lovely.
We like La Romana and feel happy in either of the hotels. First, because we can stroll around their really beautiful gardens. And also go to all the restaurants with their exquisite food. All the staff at the hotel is also always so friendly, especially the Privilege Club team. We also had a wonderful experience in Samaná last year when we went to Bahia Principe Grand Cayacoa. We travelled with two family members and were charmed by its beauty and incredible views. Now we have two favourite places!
Of course I’d recommend the Privilege Club. The team does the impossible to make you feel at home in a relaxed atmosphere. That’s why our experience exceeds our expectations. From the moment we arrive at La Romana, the concierge Ambar Ross gives us a friendly welcome, checks us in quickly and books all the restaurants for us. We even notice the advantage of being members when we go on trips. Thanks to Ambar’s and Yajaira’s recommendations we enjoy all the benefits we have as members to the full. While on holiday in La Romana and Samaná we became quite friendly with Ambar Ross and Yancarlos Fermín, respectively.
I remember that we were due to travel at the beginning of September and it was the hurricane season. We had to change our tickets twice and the communication with Yancarlos, the booking team and the transport logistics for cases like these was incredibly easy. Especially as everything was well documented with calls and emails. We were fully aware that when we arrived we would go to Punta Cana first and that they would transfer us to Bahia Principe Grand Cayacoa the next day. We were pleasantly surprised to arrive at the port by bus and cross Samaná Bay by boat. It was an amazing crossing and a delightful journey, especially the spectacular welcome at the hotel where all our setbacks were forgotten and we had an incredible week thanks to our Privilege concierge and the hotel staff.
We’ve already booked our next destination and we’re going to La Romana again. It’ll be our third visit, this time with a group of six. We’ve talked about this place so much that another relative wants to discover it. Next year we’ll probably go to Samaná, but this time we’ll book the Grand Bahia Principe Portillo.
We’re ever so grateful to the Privilege Club for giving us wonderful moments that we’ll never forget.
Yours sincerely, Elena Crespo, Elio Cabrera, Joel Gonzalez and Margarita Felipe.
