The latest addition to the hotels located in the Canary Islands archipelago, Bahia Principe Fantasia Tenerife has become the first hotel in Spain to earn the Safe Fun Seal.
The hotel owned by Grupo Piñero, has received the Safe Fun – Aquatic Leisure Certification seal, making it the first hotel in Spain to obtain this distinction, which implies the official certification of the safety of its facilities and aquatic leisure attractions.
The Safe Fun seal, owned by The Fun Lab company, certifies that the Bahia Principe Fantasia Tenerife hotel has safer and better maintained aquatic leisure facilities, as well as complying with current European safety standards for the prevention of possible accidents.
In the words of Javier Maeso, Country Manager Spain of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, “We are very pleased to receive the Safe Fun – Aquatic Leisure Certification seal, as it highlights our constant commitment to optimize our products and services in order to improve the customer experience. In this sense, obtaining this seal is the result of Grupo Piñero’s constant improvement of its products and services with the aim of improving its quality standards and guaranteeing operational excellence.
Bahia Principe Fantasia Tenerife: An Aquatic Leisure Proposal Backed by the Safe Fun Seal
The Bahia Principe Fantasia Tenerife hotel, located in the southern part of the island, has obtained the Safe Fun seal for its aquatic leisure proposal after an exhaustive inspection. The establishment’s facilities have been audited and certified by The Fun Lab based on the points included in the European standards UNE-EN 1069 -specific for water slides- and UNE-EN 17232 -for equipment and elements of water games that can be found in children’s pools and shallow water areas.
Bahia Principe Fantasia Tenerife’s aquatic leisure proposal is composed of two areas aimed at different age ranges. A water park consisting of slides and elevated games, suitable for older children, as well as a splash pool area, consisting of a smaller water park and a shallow splash zone for young children.
