Meet our members Tanja and Michael Bernath
Our Member Spotlight feels delighted to escape the 1-digit temperatures of St. Lazare, Quebec in Canada. This month we’re sharing the experience of Tanja and Michel Bernath, who are celebrating multiple things this April, their fourth year as Privilege Club members, their third consecutive vacation at Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts and most importantly, Michael’s birthday.
We have been traveling for many years now throughout Europe, North America and the Caribbean. The main objective of our vacation is to be surrounded by a relaxing ambiance be it on the open ocean or at a paradisiacal island. Back in 2014 while traveling to the Bahia Principe Punta Cana resort, everything seemed to be above our expectations and when we were asked if we would be interested in learning about the membership, we felt delighted to participate. We have nothing but praise for the organization and its staff which is why we have returned every year.
Traveling at least 3 weeks every year is our goal.
This year in April, we will be visiting the Island Cayo Levantado and then off across the bay to the Luxury Bahia Principe in Samana –which we have found to be the best option when it comes to relaxing, enjoying the scenery, meeting friendly staff, indulging in wonderful service and delight in the fresh catch of the day. Small, intimate and peaceful, is how we like it.
It feels important for us to mention someone in particular who has made every trip an outstanding experience and whom we consider part of our extended family. He has been there in times where my wife had to be rushed to the hospital; when we forgot a cellular phone at the hotel and we were already at the airport; and then advising us of an impending hurricane last 2017, when he took to inform us what measures to take. Well the man of the day in our eyes and is……YANCARLOS FERMIN!
Our next destination will be to experience the Bahia Principe Hotels in Tenerife, Canary Islands, in Spain.
