The hotel chain has once again passed more than 300 audits carried out by biologists and public health experts from the international consultancy firm HS Consulting at all its destinations. Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts renews its “Health and Safety” quality certification for another year in all its establishments.
Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, the hotel division of Grupo Piñero, has renewed its “Health and Safety” quality certification for the company’s establishments in all the destinations where it operates.
Thus, the seal, issued by the international auditing company HS Consulting Group, certifies that the group maintains the implementation of a quality management system that guarantees the hygienic-sanitary standard of its hotels and resorts, as well as compliance with state and international regulations to ensure the health, hygiene and safety of its guests and staff.
José María Berrio, CEO of HS Consulting Group, presented Antonio Teijeiro, Chief Operating Officer of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, with the certification of the renewal at an event held at the Group’s corporate headquarters in Palma de Mallorca.
“One of our priorities is to create peace of mind for our clients and employees. That is why we are continually evolving and advancing measures to ensure their well-being and safety. Certifications such as ‘Health and Safety’ prove it,” says Antonio Teijeiro, Chief Operating Officer of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts.
José María Berrio, CEO of HS Consulting Group, emphasized that “the demanding audits we perform at HS Consulting are based on compliance with state, regional and local regulations in each destination, as well as international standards, WHO (World Health Organization) recommendations and tour operator requirements.”
In order to achieve and renew this certification, Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts establishments in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Jamaica and Spain (Canary and Balearic Islands) have received more than 300 technical audits in the last year by the HS Consulting team. A team composed of biologists and public health experts has assessed the correct procedures and good practices carried out by the hotels and resorts in terms of food safety, drinking water hygiene and quality, spa and swimming pool hygiene and safety, prevention of viral transmitted diseases, hygiene and safety in children’s clubs, and overall safety, including beach safety and the hurricane safety system.
