Dominican Republic Launches Entry & Departure e-Ticket

The travel restrictions have relaxed and that all-inclusive vacation in the Caribbean you’ve been postponing is now ready to become a reality. If your next adventure points towards the Dominican Republic, then today we share the latest essential information your need to know. Your entry and exit registrations are now much easier and faster with the new entry and departure e-Ticket.

As of September 9, 2021, all foreign and Dominican passengers entering or leaving the Dominican Republic on commercial flights must complete the entry and departure e-ticket, a form that combines the Traveler’s Health Affidavit, Customs Declaration, and International Embarkation/Disembarkation forms. The form is available in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese and Russian and can be accessed completely online.

Things you need to know about the entry and departure electronic ticket (e-Ticket):

The form must be completed twice, for entry and then for departure.
You can begin and finish the form later. Just be sure to write down the application code generated at the start.
The Unique Customs Declaration is only required for adults (18+).
The Declaration of Symptoms required by the Ministry of Public Health is only required for entry to the country.
A Ticket will be generated with a QR code.
Click the Generate PDF button if you want to save it to your device.
If for some reason you lose it, just get the QR back by using the “Consult e-ticket issued” option by using the application code given at the start.

It is mandatory for each passenger to truthfully complete the information on the electronic Ticket for the General Immigration Office, the General Customs Office, and the Ministry of Public Health, according to Dominican laws.

Did you know? According to the Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism, 100% of the Tourism sector personnel (hotels, airports, restaurants, transportation, etc.) have been vaccinated. Vaccinations in the Dominican Republic are scheduled to conclude before the end of 2021.

Based on the ever-changing nature of the COVID-19 virus, it is recommended to reach out to your airline or travel agent directly to discuss any protocols that may apply to your country.
